R’Bonney Gabriel was asked a question in the final round, answering which she won the title as well as the hearts of the jury members. Harnaaz Kaur Sandhu, who was Miss Universe 2021, crowned the new Miss Universe of the United States as Miss Universe.

America’s R’Bonney Gabriel has crowned Miss Universe this year. In the last round, she has won this crown by defeating the participant of Venezuela and Dominican Republic. This was the 71st competition of Miss Universe pageant. The competition was organized on Saturday 15 January 2023 in the city of New Orleans, Louisiana, USA, in which about 90 participants took part. Out of these only three contestants could reach the end.
Apart from America, these include Amanda Dudamel of Venezuela and Andrina Martinez of Dominican Republic. On behalf of India, Divita Rai participated in the Miss Universe contest but she could only reach the top-16. In the last round only one question was asked to all the three contestants. USA’s 28-year-old R’Bonney Gabriel is a model, fashion designer by profession, who gives priority to the environment in her work. She was born on March 20, 1994 in Houston, Texas and graduated from the University of North Texas with a degree in Fashion Design.

- Apart from this crown, Miss Universe has also got cash prize money. Not only this, the entire expenses of America’s R’Bonney Gabriel will be borne by the company for a whole year.
- She will also get flat, skin care items, jewellery, shoes, clothes, makeup and hair products in New York for one year.
- She will also get traveling and hotel expenses for one year and these expenses are borne by the organization which organizes the Miss Universe contest.
